Question: Dog eats cat food and vomits, then becomes lethargic

My dog ate cat food and vomited a few times. Now she has been lethargic for a whole day. Is she sick from the cat food?

Pamela,

I doubt that the cat food really made your dog sick unless it had been sitting at room temperature for some time. Vomiting a few times causes irritation to the esophagus and could have resulted in the lethargy you observed.
