Kristin Westafer, DVM

Dr. Kristin Westafer is a Gulf Breeze, Florida native who is a new addition the Atlanta community.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Westafer has been involved with the field of veterinary medicine for 10 years with experience as a veterinary technician prior to veterinary school. Her husband Ryan, a PhD student at Georgia Tech, happily agreed to adopt her 2 dogs and 4 cats after their recent wedding. Dr. Westafer's primary veterinary interest is internal medicine, especially feline medicine (but she loves dogs, too!). In her spare time, she enjoys personal fitness, reading, and trying to catch up on all the movies she missed out on during her training.
