Sno Dillonger Van Knight

Dillon, as we call him, is a pure bred white german shepard gentlemen who loves to play, chase sticks, frisbees or anything that will be thrown for him.  We rescued him from a very abusive young man who left him alone for days on end with only a bowl of water and a bowl of food.  He learned how to make the food and water go until he got more.  He tried to make him mean and ugly by hitting him..  It did just the opposite.  He's a very friendly outgoing dog who won't hurt a flea, let alone our 2 year old granddaughter.  She uses him as a pillow at nap time.  He won't move the whole time she laying with him.  When we first got him, he wouldn't eat for days just to make his food go longer.  That is no longer true.  He can't wait to be fed now, and his water dish is always full.
