I wonder if this dog has some type of thyroid disorder. Does anyone know if humans and dogs have the same type of symptoms ? I wonder if humans have more of a range of symptoms than animals? Any info would be appreciated. Thx

Jms, dogs do get hypothyroidism as do people (click on the word to learn more about the disease). There are other medical conditions that can contribute to weight gain as well as diet changes and changes in daily eating habits. It may be worth a trip to the vet to see what you are dealing with.
