Odd vomiting sickness
Written by Just Me Kimberly
I will admit that we switched food, but she's never had a problem before with that. She is acting fine all day. Running around playing with the other dogs, then all of a sudden she pukes. It is bile and chucky looking. But she has been doing this for about three days now. For the first day one of the other dogs had diareaha but it cleared up after that first day. Any ideas.

Kimberly, vomiting can occur for many reasons. Food intolerances (from a diet change), dietary indiscretion (from eating who knows what), disease processes or even too much activity right before a meal or eating too fast can all cause vomiting.
When introducing a new diet, most dogs do best with about a 7 day transition to a new food. Start with a small amount of the new food mixed in with the old and slowly increase the amount of new food over the week. Some dogs can tolerate diet changes every so often and some can't. If a particular food agrees with the dog, is well balanced, is appropriate for the dogs age, activity level, weight and the dog likes it, it is a good match.
If the vomiting continues, it is always best to be on the safe side and have the vet take a look at her. Good luck and keep us posted on how things turn out.
