Nose discolouration

Please can anyone enlighten me - I have a little Min Pin she is 4 years old and usually have a pitch black nose but her nose is "fading" into a pale pink patch right in the middle - is this a normal thing or is it a sign of an underlying health condition ? She is a very healthy pet and in excellent condition otherwise.
