Help for animal rescue in hurricane ravished Louisiana & Texas

Many animals (dogs, cats, other small companion animals as well as farm animals) are still being impacted as a result of Hurricanes Ike and Gustav on the Gulf Coast because the small shelters and groups that help them are in need of help themselves.  I have put together a blog, Hurricane Ike Animal Rescues, to get the word out for these small rescues and groups because they don't have the resources that the large organizations have (please note that I am not associated with any of them).  Please consider helping one of the small groups/shelters (or even some private individuals who have lost their homes and need to board their animals)--small donations of $10, $20 or even $5 can have an impact on these.  Go to http://HurricaneIkeAnimalRescues.blogspot.com
