german shorthair pointer with eye infections

My dog has some recurring eye infections. Are there environmental changes that we could make to help alleviate this problem?

With out knowing the exact source of the irratant, allergen or bacteria causing eye problems, it is hard to know what to avoid. The changes in the seasons can affect animals just as they do people. Try to wash the dogs bedding frequently, vaccuum regulary, wash scatter rugs and clean areas where your dog spends most of his time. (don't forget the car) Also be careful not to use products you sprinkle on your carpet and then vaccuum up as they may cause irritation if your dog should rub his face on it.
