Comedone Syndrome

 Novasparkles, I am sorry to hear your dog has this condition.  I do not personally have experience with this skin condition in miniature Schnauzers.  When an animal has an uncommon medical issue or one that is difficult to diagnose, I always recommend a second opinion with a veterinary specialist.  A veterinary Dermatologist has most likely seen this problem many times and will likely have the most current information on a coarse of treatment.

Specialists may seem a bit extreme or sound expensive, but one trip to the expert may save you several trips to a general practitioner.  I hope this helps and I wish you good luck!
