Boston Terrier who is hiding under the bed

Hi, My Boston Emma is acting really weird these days. She has decided that all her food I give her is boring but if i cook her up a chicken she will eat it. I recently acquired two cockatiels(already had a conure) and now Emma spends the morning after I take her out either hiding under the bed or laying in my bathroom away from me. I don't know what is wrong? When I take her out she acts fine. Then when she comes back in she just doesn't want to be with me. She has always been so loving can she really be jealous of new pets? Please help me with some idea of what is up

Adding or subtracting a pet can certainly affect the behavior of an existing pet. Sensitive dogs can get depressed, feeling neglected when your attention is elsewhere however, it is more common with the addition of a new dog or cat because they are more likely to demand attention on the same level as the resident dog.

I am concerned about lack of appetite and the aloof behavior. I would advise a trip to the Vet just to be sure there is not an underlying medical issue causing Emma to be picky about her food and a bit depressed.
