11 to 13 years

Temperament

Siberians are extroverts and usually friendly towards everyone. They are not watchdogs. They are also good with other dogs and in fact, are happier when they have another dog in the household.

Activity level

This breed needs daily vigorous exercise every single day. A bored Siberian without enough exercise can get into trouble and is often an escape artist.

Training

This breed was bred to pull a sled and run; they need an owner who understands that these dogs are not always the most cooperative in regards to other things. Although training is important to teach household rules and social manners, it is not always easy.
