Grooming

Temperament
Pugs are silly little clowns who love to be the center of attention. They can be too small for very young children but are wonderful companions for older kids who know to be gentle.
Activity level
Obesity is a problem so daily exercise is needed to keep the Pug moving. However, the very short muzzle can also cause breathing problems so avoid exercise or play times in hot, humid weather.
Training
Housetraining can be a challenge. Owners must adhere to a schedule, supervise the Pug puppy inside the house, and be patient.
