People yawns make dogs yawn

Say that 5 times quickly! A University of London study reported that dogs can catch human yawns. It's well-documented that human yawns are contagious – now we know it isn't just to humans!

The significance of this study is substantial. It gives us concrete evidence that dogs are indeed empathetic. I know my dog Donut can tell when I'm sad or upset and does her best to react accordingly. And now I'm going to test out this yawning principle when I get home.
